    BEST COACH TO COACHING YOURSELF!

The best coaches don't just tell you what to do, they get you to tell yourself what to do. They don't just hold you accountable, but get you to hold yourself accountable. They don't just point out you're deficiencies, they get you to WANT to work on them. They don't just hear what you have to say, but listen to what you really mean and get you to listen to yourself. The best coaches don't just spend time with you, but get you to circle back on the time spent with them. They don't just get you to invest in them to make you better, they get you to invest in yourself to be better.

This is why Tony Sherock Habits to Health in one of the best coaches around! I told him I wouldn't provide a review immediately after my sessions with him, but after a period of time where I could give objective feedback on not only what happened at the time during his coaching, but when I was back in my normal day to day circumstances and living differently because of why I contracted with him in the first place. Tony's passion and committment as a coach towards helping others is quite evident and it would have been easy to write an extremely positive review right away, yet I knew his real impact had to be after evaluatition on the coaching he provided after some time and that's why this review is three months after we working working together.

I knew I had reached a point where I had to do something with my health even though I had been a high school athlete, ran a marathon in 2000, competed in triathlons and done various activities over the last few decades. Unfortunately over the last few years I have not consistently been subscribing to proper eating, sleeping and exercise habits and knew the next few decades would be very disappointing and not the life I envisioned living if I didn't get my physical house in order. I just wasn't sure what the best way to go about doing so would be for me.

Fortunately I crossed paths with Tony at a conference where I actually complained that the buffet was lacking pizza and other items of questionable health value that I would have preffered to eat compared to the high nutritional value content offered by the conference organizers. I shared this observation with my tablemates Tony and his wife Sherri who brought to my attention that they were both health coaches. Add this to my list of akward moments I've created in my life!

Upon reflection a few days later I was enlightened enough to give Tony a call and determined that making an investment into coaching was the move I needed to make, regardless if I admittedly didn't experience some hesitancy with the idea of paying someone to help me with things I thought I inherently knew I should be doing. Well, the difference is that Tony helped me figure out WHAT I really need to do, HOW to do it based on my approach to life, WHY to do it driven by what really motivates me, and WHO needs me to be healthy for the rest of my life.

When it comes to what I'm doing better and continuously working on as a 58 year old male after Tony's coaching are:

-Increased water intake early and often throughout day
    -Consistent strength training
    -Mindful nutrional eating with purpose
-Emphasis on sleep hygiene as foundation for a great day
    -Optimization of productive habits
-Elimination and reduction of bad habits
-Embracing the wins and learning from the losses
-Better cognition of movement and steps throughout the day
-Instituting "The Habit is the Goal" mentality
-Comfort with adjustments and iterations to training
-Accepting a more holisitic approach to all activites

Bottom line, if you are desiring to make a commitment to bettering your physical self and willing to not just pay Tony to help, but to invest in yourself by embracing the coaching he provides YOU, the return on the investment will exceed any other expenditures you make this year.

Hopefully this recommendation will help inspire you to sign up feel the gratitude I do after working with Habits To Health - Tony Sherock, LLC!

Working with Tony was a great experience and had a huge impact on my life. I signed up for both his health coaching and personal training services. As a working mom, I had struggled during the pandemic to prioritize taking care of myself or get regular exercise. I was doing some online exercise classes periodically, but I was finding it hard to stay motivated.

With Tony's health coaching, I started with broad health goals like 'getting a more regular fitness routine in my life' as well as some other personal goals like 'using my time more productively.' In weekly meetings, Tony helped me focus my goals into action and identify the activities and strategies that were working well for me and the ones that weren't. His attitude was always positive and encouraging, and he brought a lot of practical expertise/advice to our conversations about how to create lasting behavioral change in one's life.

With Tony's help and support, I wound up making huge strides in health and fitness—getting back into biking and running after years away from these activities, and even accomplishing a triathlon! At the same time, I also made big strides towards other goals like completing a certification program that I had put on the back burner for years. My health coaching with Tony wrapped up over a month ago, but I find that I'm still benefiting from our work together. The routines and strategies he helped me develop are sticking and I'm continuing to do well on both health/fitness and other goals.

With Tony's personal training, I made it clear from the start that my main goal was to build strength without re-injuring myself. (I have a history of chronic pain and injury, so I was scared about the possibility of pushing myself too far, too fast.) Tony listened well to my goals and developed routines for me that pushed me and helped me get noticeably stronger, but at the right pace for me. He is also very up-beat and encouraging, so workouts with Tony are always motivating and enjoyable!
